Mylor and Flushing Community Publications is a Community Interest Company limited by guarantee, formed in 2016. Our aim is to serve the community of Mylor Bridge, Flushing and surrounding areas by providing channels of communication, information and support.
We publish the free local community magazine ‘The Magazine’ and maintain this website as a source of information for locals and visitors.
The Magazine and website is edited and managed by a team of volunteers. Community members volunteer editorial content and other material for the magazine. We use revenue raised from advertising and sponsorship to fund the website and print the magazine. All advertisers, editorial contributors and the editorial team are members of the CIC.
The CIC has a board of directors who do not receive any remuneration for carrying out the required legal and fiduciary responsibilities.
