Please note this is a one-off funding allocation, and it is not anticipated that this will be repeated in future years.

We do like to give preference to local advertisers but welcome enquiries from any potential advertiser. Please be aware that having an advert in The Magazine is very much subject to the space available at the time.

Mylor and Flushing’s monthly magazine, called simply, The Magazine, has been awarded Best Design in the National Parish Magazine Awards for 2022. This is our 4th award in 5 years! The Magazine is published monthly and distributed free to readers throughout the parish of Mylor, for the benefit of the whole community.

Together but apart was certainly apt for these celebrations….and Flushing was certainly no exception …although certain timings may have been the same for the various parts of the village, all areas engaged in some form of neighbourly togetherness while keeping that social distance!

It was a beautiful afternoon and the sun was wonderfully hot as some of the residents of Cogos Park, Mylor Bridge, came together to celebrate the 75th.

As you may already be aware, the Covid-19 outbreak has prevented the Mylor and Flushing Community Publications (CIC) from holding its AGM as advertised. The AGM has been postponed and when normal business is resumed a revised notice will be posted.

Huge Congratulations to Mylor Community Garden who have been awarded Level 5 'Outstanding', from South West Britain in Bloom. Its the highest possible grade in the 'It's Your Neighbourhood' category.
What a great way to thank all the weeders and waterers, diggers and muck spreaders, pruners and pickers, cake and tea makers and those that pop in or help out on a regular basis. Mylor Community Garden, Our Garden!!

The Magazine has been awarded Best Print and third place overall (for its size) in the National Parish Magazine Awards 2019. Over 360 entries were judged for their content, design, printing, and editorship. Run by volunteers, The Magazine is published monthly and distributed free to readers throughout the parish of Mylor, for the benefit of the whole community.
